The basic structure of our deck was still in excellent condition, but the boards on the deck floor, the steps leading down to the yard, and the railing caps were in sad shape. As our lower deck approached 16 years of life and had begun to deteriorate, we checked with Kyle at Southwestern Remodeling for a replacement quote. Since our deck was constructed on grade, he provided us with options that included replacement with concrete. When we learned that the concrete could be colored and stamped, we were sold.
